MÉCÉNAT AU CHÂTEAU DE LAUBADE

Emmanuel Lesgourgues
They had good drinks !

The sculpture « Let’s go for a drink », by Emmanuel Lesgourgues was made during the celebration of the 140th anniversary of Château de Laubade. The artist wanted to make the audience participate to the creation process in order to build a common master of art, as an eternal track of their visit at Laubade. The sculpture is composed of a guest table whose sides represent some geological cuts, to highlight the property’s territory. The rude woody table symbolizes the earth, this necessary raw material from which armagnac comes to life. Guests have laid an empty bottle of armagnac they had tasted before on the table. The table is a daily reminder of this great event of conviviality and authenticity. A great Laubade instant.
