Yves Guérin
The Mousquetaires

This sculpture has not been baked off, conversely to all the other pieces of art spread all along the property. Yves Guérin shaped the Mousquetaires in his studio in Clermont-Ferrand, (Center of France, Auvergne), which is a real forge with all the necessary toolsfor sculpture. He is used to shape materials such as huge iron bars, SNCF rails. Château de Laubade is located in Gascony the original place of the Mousquetaires. Yves Guérin wanted to express the values of these four famous companions : strength, power, but also grace, panache and lightness. It is a bold and courageous master of art. Each piece has its own personality. The visitor should try to find which one of them is D’Artagnan, the most famous one, for his quick mind, escapades and passion for women.
